MINUTES

PRESENT(VIRTUAL):
CALL TO ORDER: Andy Crouch called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room in City
Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Clark Miles and Amy Huffman served
on the board.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Miles made the motion to approve the minutes from May 22, 2024. Mrs.
Huffman seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Miles made the motion to approve the payroll. Mrs. Huffman seconded the motion;
motion passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Josh Darby-Request for approval of road closure on Market Street for Market Street Sewer
Replacement Project starting on May 29, 2024—Mr. Darby advised this was a project for the Sewer
Board. The closure will be between Riverpointe Plaza and Indiana Ave. The sewer is 18-20 feet deep so it
is necessary for a full closure. They are requesting to close today and it will be closed for approximately
two months. Mr. Miles confirmed with JPD and JFD if there were any issues with the request and neither
department noted an issue. Mr. Darby stated no access points will be affected with the closure.
Mr. Miles made a motion to approve the closure and Mrs. Huffman seconded the motion; motion passed,
3-0.
