REGULAR MEETING
APRIL 16, 2024
The Jeffersonville Drainage Board was held on April 16, 2024, at 5:30 P.M. in the City Council
Chambers, First Floor, 500 Quartermaster Court,Jeffersonville, Indiana. President Tim Franklin called
the meeting to order with the following in attendance:

Absent were Dale Sariscsany,Adam Ross, Keith Fetz and Attorney Darren Wilder
APPROVAL OF CLAIMS:
President Franklin presented the Claims from April 2, 2024 in the amount of$958.09, asking if
there were any questions, corrections or comments. Mr. Calkin made a motion to approve the Claims as
presented and seconded by Mr. Guepe. Motion approved unanimously
President Franklin presented the Claims from April 16, 2024 in the amount of$87,525.91, asking
if there were any questions, corrections or comments. Mr. Ketenbrink made a motion to approve the
Claims as presented and seconded by Mr. Lander. Motion approved unanimously
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
President Franklin presented the Minutes from March 19, 2024 meeting, asking if there were
any questions, comments or corrections. Mr. Lander made a motion to approve the Minutes as
presented and seconded by Mr. Calkin. Motion approved unanimously
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
Casey DeYoung with Heritage Engineer addressed the Board regarding Sprigler for Eastern Blvd.
Development. This is the existing Vissing Motel which will be converted into an apartment building,
some existing parking lot and townhouses.They will be construction a restaurant on an adjacent lot and
conducting some landscaping. They will be decreasing the run off on this site. City Engineer Crouch has
reviewed and approved the plans before the meeting. Mr. Calkin made a motion to approve the plans
as presented and seconded by Mr. Guepe. Motion approved unanimously
Axel Jagoe with Heritage Engineering addressed the Board regarding America Place, Lot 16A.
This is located in River Ridge at International and Logistic Streets and consist of 85 acres. It will consist
of a 56,700 square foot large warehouse. They will be reducing the runoff at this location. City Engineer
Crouch has reviewed and approved the plans before the meeting. Mr. Calkin made a motion to approve
the plans as presented and seconded by Mr. Lander. Motion approved unanimously
Brad Reinhardt with Blankenbeker&Associates addressed the Board regarding Mystic Falls,
Section 4. This is an addition section at New Albany and Charlestown Pike close to the entrance. It will
consist of 11 lots in this section and two detention basins on site. City Engineer Crouch has reviewed
the plans before our meeting. Mr. Lander made a motion to approve the plans as presented and
seconded by Mr. Ketenbrink. Motion approved unanimously
Brad Simpson with Barge Design Solutions addressed the Board regarding Project Slugger. This
will be located in River Ridge at 300 International Blvd. on a 600 acre site. A data center will be built on
this site. City Engineer Crouch has reviewed and agreed with the plans presented. Mr. Calkin made a
motion to approve the plans as presented and seconded by Mr. Guepe. Motion approved unanimously
Brandon Goldberg with Greenberg Farrow addressed the Board regarding Jaggers. This will be
across from Kroger on East 10th Street just north of Tommy's Car Wash and L&N Credit Union. It will be
a Jaggers Restaurant and detention is already in that area. City Engineer Crouch has reviewed and
agreed with the plans. Mr. Guepe made a motion to approve the plans as presented and seconded by
Mr. Calkin. Motion approved unanimously
The River Ridge Tract 5B at 160 Safety Street was postponed until another meeting.
PUBLIC COMMENTS: None
REPORTS:
The meeting for May 7th has been rescheduled until Monday, May 6, 2024 due to Election Day
and be in Mayor's Conference Room.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mr. Lander made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:50 P.M. and seconded by Mr.
Ketenbrink. Our next meeting will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 5:30 P.M. in the Mayor's
Conference Room.
