REGULAR MEETING
March 19, 2024
The Jeffersonville Drainage Board was held on March 19, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. in the City
Council Chambers, 1st Floor, 500 Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, Indiana. President Tim
Franklin called the meeting to order with the following in attendance:

Shane Calkin—ABSENT

APPROVAL OF CLAIMS:
President Franklin presented the Claims, President Franklin asked if there were any questions, additions,
or comments. After discussing the reason for trench drains, Member Guepe made a motion to approve
the Claims totaling$42,086.14 seconded by Member Fetz.
Motion approved unanimously
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
President Franklin presented the minutes from March 5th 2024 meeting, asking if there were any
questions, corrections, or comments. Member Frazier made a motion to approve the Minutes as
presented, seconded by Member Fetz.
Motion approved unanimously
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS: Valvoline Parking lot extension-2514 Allison Lane- Nigel Tate, CESO-Valvoline is looking
to expand the parking lot, they already have approval from BZA and now need approval from
Engineering and Drainage. Most of the drainage at the site goes to the east corner of the site,for their
improvements they are going move the flow to the northeast part of the site and install a small tension
basin. Andy Crouch has reviewed and approved the plans after speaking with the neighbors
Member Fraizer made a motion to approve Valvoline plans with the inclusion of a maintenance
agreement, seconded by Member Fetz.
Motion approved unanimously
PUBLIC COMMENTS: None
REPORTS: Jon Bischof informed the board that their hydrovac saved the department a lot of time and
money recently on the corner of 10th and Elmsworth when they were able to do a needed repair.
Previously they would have needed to bring in a excavator or rented a hydrovac costing around
$10,000.00.
ADJOURNMENT: Member Guepe made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:40 p.m., seconded by
Member Fetz. Our next meeting will be held on April 2nd at 5:30 pm.
