PRESENT(VIRTUAL): CALL TO ORDER: Redevelopment Director Rob Waiz called the meeting to order at 9:31 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Andy Crouch and Clark Miles served on the board. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from December 20, 2023. Mr. Miles seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Miles made the motion to approve the payroll. Mr. Crouch seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. OLD BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: 1. Scott McVoy-Request for approval of professional service agreement between Jeff PD and Brian Woodring —Assistant Chief McVoy advised this contract was 100%grant funded. Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the professional service agreement and Mr. Miles seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. 2. Larry Wallace-Presentation of bids for electrical and construction work at City Hall in Mayor's Office— Mr. Wallace presented three quotes for the construction in the Mayor's Office; Morris construction- $8,750; AML only quoted part of the work and advised they could not take the job if awarded and Kevin Dupont also advised he could not do the work due to his workload. Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the quote for Doug Morris and Mr. Miles seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. Mr. Wallace advised the electrical work was separate. Abtech Electrical Services quoted $3,250; Doug Morris quoted $4,750; Danny Herron advised he could not do the work due to his workload. Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the quote for Abtech Electrical and Mr. Miles seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
