QUESTIONS FOR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
All is going well
BOARD COMMENT
Ms. Perkins—Utica Elementary was awarded Blue Ribbon Status, they went to Washington,
DC and only 11 schools in State of Indiana awarded with 4 being public and the rest private.
Mr. Moore—From a former President of PTO for Utica Elementary, I am very proud of the
Blue Ribbon award.
At Planning and Zoning meeting last night, the growth that is coming to Jeff with around 800
new homes coming off Charlestown Pike is great to see. Numerous contractors have reached out
about developing in Jeffersonville.
Again, I am very proud of Greater Clark County Schools and Superintendent Mark Laughner in
doing what he has done and stuck to his word on keeping Parkview open. Jeff will have 3
middle schools once the new one is built and then the remodeling of Parkview will be great for
the future of students attending one of these schools
Mr. Avery—I have to applaud the leadership in the City and Council in all they have
accomplished and the assistance given to Greater Clark County Schools.
Mr. Owen-No Comment
Mr. Hawkins—No comment
