MINUTES
December 13,2023

PRESENT(VIRTUAL):
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Mike Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's
Conference Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website.
Andy Crouch and Rob Waiz served on the board.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from December 6,
2023. Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll. Mr. Crouch seconded the
motion; motion passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Jason Sharp-Swearing in of four(4) new Firefighters for the City— Mayor Moore swore in four
new firefighters: Payton Settles,John Smedal, Dalton Collins, and Seth Dayvault.
2. Christy O'Neil-Request for approval of placement of a 20 yard dumpster for Sena Farrrell at
8th and Watt Street from December 14, 2023 to December 29, 2023 (will be blocking the
sidewalk)— Mrs. O'Neil advised this was requested for two weeks and will be on the street.
Mayor Moore asked if there were alleys and Mrs. O'Neil advised there are but they could not
put it in the alley. The dumpster will be going on the Watt St. side.
Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the request contingent on the Street Department looking
at and approving the location and Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
3. Mike McCutcheon-Request for approval of service agreement between Varitech Incorporated
and Jeff Fire Department— Deputy Chief McCutcheon advised this service agreement is for JFD
generators and they do have the money in their budget.
Mr. Waiz made a motion to approve the amendment to the agreement and Mr. Crouch
seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
4. Christy O'Neil-Request for approval of placement of a dumpster at 734 Fulton Street from
December 15, 2023 until December 23, 2023— Mrs. O'Neil stated they will be cleaning out a
house there and believe there will be enough room for the cars to get around the dumpsters.
Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the request contingent on the Street Department looking
at and approving the location and Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
With o her bu'tiness, Mr. Crouch made a motion to adjourn at 9:40 a.m.
