HomeMy WebLinkAbout2023-R-11 Resoution Conveying Parcel of Real Estate by Deed to Redevelopment RESOLUTION NO. 2023-R- \� BEFORE THE JEFFERSONVILLE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY FOR THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE IN THE STATE OF INDIANA A RESOLUTION CONVEYING A PARCEL OF REAL ESTATE BY DEED TO JEFFERSONVILLE DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT WHEREAS, the City of Jeffersonville (hereinafter called "the City") is an Indiana municipal corporation with the legal authority to own real estate; and WHEREAS, the City owns a certain parcel of real estate being described as follows: See attached Exhibits "A" (Parcel #10-19-03-500-729.000-009) WHERESA, the Board of Public Works and Safety ("BPW") believes it is in the best interest of the citizens and taxpayers of Jeffersonville for the City to convey said real estate to the Jeffersonville Department of Redevelopment. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the BPW approves the conveyance of said Parcel of Real Estate by Deed to the Jeffersonville Department of Redevelopment. IT IS FURTHER HEREBY RESOLVED, by the BPW that upon the adoption of the aforementioned resolution by the Mayor, on behalf of the City, Board of Public Works, the City is authorized to quit-claim said real estate to the Jeffersonville Department of Redevelopment.pm_ Approved and adopted by the Board of Public Words Safe this ,)9 aay of November, 2023.
