PRESENT(VIRTUAL): Sarah Green Animal Shelter Director CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Mike Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room in City Hall. The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Andy Crouch and Rob Waiz served on the board. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from October 11, 2023. Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll. Mr. Crouch seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. OLD BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: 1. Scott McVoy-Request for approval of contract between Jeff Police Department and First Savings Bank for the purchase of Jeff Police Department mobile command center—Assistant Chief McVoy advised this commitment letter was between Jeffersonville Police Department and First Savings Bank and was for the equipment and vehicles being leased through First Savings Bank. Assistant Chief McVoy advised this received a favorable recommendation from the City Council at the September 18, 2023 meeting. Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the Lease Financing Agreement and Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. Mayor Moore additionally thanked First Savings Bank and City Controller Heather Metcalf. The City has earned 2.3 million dollars in interest so far this year. 2. Andy Crouch-Request for approval of contract between City and Mystics of Movement for(6) performance artists at The Depot event on Saturday, October 21st- Mr. Crouch advised this contract was for a performance at the Jeff Family Fest on October 21, 2023. The event is from 11-2 at the brand new Fall's Landing. Mr.Waiz made a motion to approve the contract and Mr. Crouch seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
