Scope
Two YARD team members will work with the City of Jeffersonville Planning Staff and
Jeffersonville Main Street for eight hours to develop approaches and strategies for activating
Spring Street and its connection to the Big Four Station Special consideration will be given to the
400 and 500 blocks of Spring Street near Court Avenue The project will involve conversations
with local store/property owners in order to determine the best course of action The project will
culminate in a report outlining projects, activities, etc to be implemented over the next year to
help activate the pedestrian environment and direct more people from the Big Four Bridge to
restaurants and businesses on Spring Street, and enhance the vibrancy of Downtown
Jeffersonville The conceptual agenda for the day is
• Morning coffee with Client (30 minutes)
• Tour and debrief with stakeholders (2 hours)
• YARD internal working session to develop recommendations presentation(4.5 hours)
• Afternoon presentation with invited stakeholders (1 hour)
