Second Quarter Expectations: Heather Rapp stated that the second quarter expectations are the following; in April, focus on referring to the 2023 budget and start establishing the cost for 2024. Then in May, the focus will be on identifying what the budget is going to be for 2024 and start selecting grants. In June the commission will reconvene to select the programming for 2024 based on time and cost. Subcommittee Updates: This agenda item was more about what Heather expects from each subcommittee specifically. She stated that selecting grants and establishing the budget for 2024 are the top two priorities. Then she denoted that for the events subcommittee, she is looking for a decision on whether to have a 2023 holiday market at the NoCo Arts Center. For the public art subcommittee, she is looking for a date and time for the Shirely's Arbor ribbon cutting and whether the Story Trail will be taking place this year. For the maintenance subcommittee, she wants to get a meeting scheduled with John Paul. She also wants Denise to have access to the software for information on the art pieces. Lastly, for art spaces, she wants to record the digital gallery process for future reference when someone inquires about how to project art on the screens, we will have a guide on the process. Administrator Comments: Heather Rapp directed the commissioners to set up meetings with their subcommittees to work on developing a budget and program for 2024. She posed the questions to the commissioners, what grants should they apply for, and what kind of software does the commission think would be beneficial for 2024? In May,the commission plans to review the progress of development on 2024 programming. Identifying which grants, if any would be beneficial for programming funding. The agenda items that were not addressed tonight will be added to the May meeting agenda for review and discussion. The next meeting is on May 8th. GAT Y Off.
