OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Ramiro's Cantina-Request for approval of application for outdoor seating at 149 Spring
Street— Mr. Reischl advised this came through his office. Mayor Moore brought up a
concern with the food trucks and finding parking for those so they do not block the
restaurant. The owner, Mr. Ramiro Gadara said he is struggling to find parking and is
currently looking for a warehouse to lease. Mayor Moore recommended looking at the
parking lot the City just built as it is lit and may be a good option. Mr. Reischl said he is
not sure if one of the spaces is a handicapped space and if so his recommendation
would be to look at moving the handicapped space. Mr. Merkley asked Mr. Reischl if
there was a written policy on how these requests were approved and Mr. Reischl
confirmed there was and it meets the requirements with the exception of the
handicapped parking space and they could designate another space to meet that need.
Mr. Crouch made the motion contingent on Legal, Engineering, Planning and Zoning,
and Police working out the final details and Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion
passed, 3-0.
