HomeMy WebLinkAboutParks Authority July 26, 2022 Jeffersonville Parks Authority Tuesday,July 26th, 2022 The Jeffersonville Parks Authority Met in Session on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022 in the Mayor' conference room on the third floor of City Hall. Members Present: Johnna Anderson, Ralph Scales, Lisa Carter, Savannah O'Neil,Hope Northam and Pam Clark. Also Present:Director Paul Northam,Asst Director Amber Ridings and City Attorney Les Merkley. All contracts are approved pending legal review. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Member Anderson made a MOTION to approve the agenda for the July 26th, 2022 Parks Authority meeting,the motion was seconded by Member O'Neil. The motion PASSED on a vote of 6-0. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Member O'Neil made a MOTION to approve the minutes from the May 23rd, 2022 Parks Authority meeting,the motion was seconded by Member Scales. The motion PASSED on a vote of 6-0. OLD BUSINESS None NEW BUSINESS Northam- Columbia Cascade Purchase- We are purchasing 10 Metal Bollards for Highland Park, the pricing with delivery is$7,940.00. We only have quote for this project from Integrity Recreation Concepts because we have used this company in the past and we have been happy with their work and think that as we order this for the parks there should be uniformity in what we order. Member O'Neil made a MOTION to approve the purchase of 10 Metal Bollard's from Integrity Recreation Concepts, the motion was seconded by Member Scales. The motion PASSED on a vote of 6-0. REPORTS AND COMMENTS Parks Authority Attorney Report- It has been brought to our attention that not all of the parks in Jeffersonville have the Parks Authority listed as owner,this resolution will move the following parks ownership to the Parks Authority. Memorial Park, Bob Hedge Park, Lansden Park, Lottie Oglesby Park, Shirley's Arbor Park and Forrest Park. Member Anderson made a MOTION to approve the Resolution No 2022-R-1,A Resolution accepting the Conveyance of certain parcels of real estate by deed from the City of Jeffersonville,the motion was seconded by Member O'Neil. The motion PASSED on a vote of 6-0. Public Comments- NONE Parks Authority Member Comments- NONE Member Croudep made a motion to ADJOURN at 5:15 pm, PASSING on a vote of 6-0.
