Also we have selected the security company for Riverstage we went with Member Burns suggestion of Vigilant Security,we think they will do a great job. Member O'Neil made a MOTION to approve the Riverstage contracts Wyld Ryde for August 8th, Keith Vincent for June 10th,The Aesthetic for July 1st,Shotgun Serenade for July 15th,Those Down Torpedoes July 8th,The Incredibles for July 29th,Ty James for June 19th and Vigilant Security, the motion was seconded by Member Burns. The motion PASSED on a vote of 7-0. Notham-Ice Rink Contract- Before we get started with the contract I want to talk about the budget, we haven't had the ice rink since 2016 or 2017 so we are going to need to have it put back in the budget and of course as with everything right now prices have gone up. The budget currently is$139,000.00 for contractual and supplies, the new contract we have with Ice America is for$152,000.00 just for the Ice Rink. And of course the salaries for the employees for the two months as well as advertising and supplies we are going to be way above the current budget. We are thinking to cover everything we will need another$70,000.00 and so I met with Heather Metcalf in finance and we went over the budget and she feels pretty confident that with the money left over from last year and the proposed money left over from this year that we can cover the$70,000.00 I just need to go to the council for approval. So I would like approval to move forward pending approval from the City Council for the addition money. Member Burns asked if this was the same company that we used previously? Director Northam stated that no it is not the same company. That company gave us the run around on getting a quote so we needed to move on. But we are very happy with the new company. Member Stoner asked if we take sponsors for the Ice Rink and Director Northam stated that yes as soon as we have details Dave Simpson will be out looking for a sponsor. The location has also changed as we lost the original lot that we used to set it up in so it will be a little smaller than it used to be but it will be a permanent place to put it. Member Stoner made a MOTION to approve the contract with Ice America pending approval of the additional from the City Council and from Redevelopment. The motion was seconded by Member Anderson. The motion PASSED on a vote of 7-0.
