seconded by Sarah Young, Motion carried unanimously.
Greater Clark Elementary Schools Art Show—Numbers & Photos -Emily Dippie
1,390 people attended NOCO during the Elementary Art Show. I believe this is a testament in how hard
everyone is working to educate their students in visual arts. Commissioners were there to help make this a huge
event
Gallery Update—Emily Dippie—David Miller Show
Photographer and his show will be opening in the Art center on May 23 and will run through June 23, 2022.
Shakespeare In The Park—Emily Dippie
Had a wonderful experience watching the Shakespeare Friday night, said John McCarthy. Actors seemed very
happy and professional, just a great event. Kentucky Shakespeare was very happy with moving the venue
inside because night before the production was cut short due to rain. Had several people stay after and clean up
including the actors.. Shakespeare will be back in Jeffersonville on May 20 at Chapel Lake Park just in case you
missed it the first time.

Story Trail Update and Sticky Note Update—Emily Dippie
Final 20 &Judging for Story Trail
Both Story Trail and Sticky Note have closed and the Sticky note jury has selected the top 20 entries and it is
now back out for a public vote. We had 62 submissions,'ranging from ages 3-65. 12 adult, 12 teen, biggest
group was 9-14 age range. A lot of the teachers were really excited about this project. Voting is open to
everyone and I sent an email to the top 20 today to let them know they are the top 20 and voting has started.
We will have 4 age category winners and 1 best of show and voting closes on May 29, 2022. Thank you Kofi
for coming to select finalist.
Story Trail I think was hurt by the Sticky Note competition this year. We only received 8 submissions, even
though we did not receive a lot of submissions we have some very good stories. We do need to set up a date to
judge submissions.
NoCo Art Mobile—Jury Call—Emily Dippie
Once I have the contract signed I will feel better. We also have a couple artists interested in the Art Mobile.
On application it asks what type of background they have to instruct in the Art Mobile. Hope is to send out
applications this week, we are referring to this as a teaching residency. If you know of anyone please let me
know and I will send them an application.
As of Monday, they will be cutting check for our van. Vehicle Maintenance has agreed to help us get the van
ready. We will need to set a meeting date for to decide on the wrap, and interior of the van. We would like to
cut the ribbon at training in July, and then have a big media splash with all the artist and facilitator there. I
would love to have a large pot of artists that attend the training because that way if summer camp or whatever
comes up we will have someone ready to go.
Chair in June—Emily Dippie
I will be absent for June so I need someone to step in,you just have to meet with Emily for about 30 minutes
prior to meeting to get things ready. Sarah Young volunteers to chair June meeting.
Teen Arts Council Discussion—Emily Dippie
This is an idea we have talked about previously,I think we need to set the structure for this. Show teens that art
is something you are able to do even after you leave school. A lot of students do not see art after school.
The only thing I have done for this is filled out a funding option, but I have not heard back from that as of yet.
We have to be careful with this teen council, teens feel like we just want them to work, and that is not what we
want at all. We are trying to provide them the tools to excel at this. Do we want to set up a committee for this?
Or go a different way? Not sure what way that can be but I is totally up to you. If we form a committee tonight
we can launch it by August. Sarah Young, Susan Harrison. 0
