Amplify Report—Emily Dippie Had about 150 people in attendance, there was very positive feelings for food trucks that came, and everyone loved the horse fashion show, and wanted to make sure they would be back next year. Thank Denise for the activity at event, Rosey was instrumental in getting fliers out for us. What did this event cost us this year?Asks Teah Williams-Hampton. $1,500.00, states Emily Dippie. But if we want to do this next year we will probably have to look at more of a budget because Tammy donated a lot of time and material to make this happen. The only thing the miniature horse owners asked for was media attention, and we for sure made that happen, says Emily Dippie. John McCarthy and I have been talking with someone to train for our summer projects. In terms of interviewing things were very positive, but this person has to be able to structure things very well. This person did come from a trusted person. We will be giving you more as we can pertaining to this. Story Trail—Jury Call—Emily Dippie As crazy as it sounds we are coming up on the Story Trail needing a jury, says Emily Dippie. The story trail closes on May 2, 2022. I wanted some time to discuss this tonight. If we are going to have a display of doors in July we will need to start planning this month. I wanted to open the floor for ideas. We need to figure out who we need to target for this, and how we target them, says Emily. I think we need to get this out to neighborhoods, says Sarah Young. Do we want to target neighborhoods only? What if a girl scout or boy scout troop wants to be a part of it? Or a church community? I don't have a preference either way, I am just putting this out there. In depth discussion, I am very excited about this project, says John McCarthy. Would we like to get a structured committee together as point people for Open Door? Asks John McCarthy. Sure, says Emily Dippie. Is there anyone that would like to be on this committee?
