Monday, February 28, 2022
The Jeffersonville Parks Authority Met in Session on February 28th, 2022 in the Mayor' conference room
on the third floor of City Hall. Members Present: Bill Burns,Johnna Anderson, Ralph Scales, Lisa Carter,
Carmen Croudep (arrived late),Savannah O'Neil, Pam Clark(arrived late) and Evan Stoner. Also Present:
Director Paul Northam.
All contracts are approved pending legal review.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Member Burns made a MOTION to approve the agenda for the February 28, 2022 Parks Authority
meeting,the motion was seconded by Member O'Neil. The motion PASSED on a vote of 6-0.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Member O'Neil made a MOTION'to approve the minutes from the January 24th, 2022 and February 16th,
2022 Parks Authority meeting,the motion was seconded by Member Burns. The motion PASSED on a
vote of 6-0. -
OLD BUSINESS-None
NEW BUSINESS-
Powell-Funtime Productions Contract-These are the Funtime contracts that we discussed last meeting,
Funtime added the changes we discussed to contract in case we have to cancel due to Covid where the
deposit will roll for up to one year.
Member O'Neil made a MOTION to approve the Funtime contracts for Steamboat Nights and Light up
Jeffersonville,the motion was seconded by Member Anderson. The motion PASSED on a vote of 6-0.
Powell-Riverstage Contracts-The contract is with Sivori,this is the same contracts that we have had for
previous Thunders. They.coordinate all food services and pay us a 20%fee.
Member Stoner made a MOTION to approve the contract with Sivori,the motion was seconded by
Member O'Neil. The motion PASSED on a vote of 6-0.
We also have contracts for Thunderstruck for$7,500.00,The Rumors for$2,000.00, Radiotronic for
$2,500.00 and The Juice Box Heroes for$5,000.00.
Member Burns made a MOTION to approve the contracts with Thunderstruck for$7,500.00,The
Rumors for$2,000.00, Radiotronic for$2,500.00 and The Juice Box Heroes for$5,000.00,the motion
was seconded by Member O'Neil. The motion PASSED on a vote of 6-0.
DIRECTOR'S REPORT
Ricky Romans- I have just a few things,with the nice weather coming we have people wanting to be
outside and that means starting rentals at Vissing Park for the year. All of the leagues are starting a
month early this year on April 5th and will carry us until July when we will start some renovations.
Tim McCoy-This year I usually split the team up into two teams,we are working on stump grinding and
working on Chapel Lake Park. We are also working applying
Donnie Poole-The river is up again, we didn't even get to finish the last clean up and it went up again
but it should be down by next week. We are also getting ready to get the ball fields ready for the
season.
Amber Powell-We are coming up on the Flash Light Easter Egg Hunt in April with registration starting
tomorrow on March 1st. We are also getting ready to announce the Jamming in Jeff acts in March and
we will be announcing the Jeff Goes Country Artist in April in conjunction with IHeart Radio.
Director Northam- I don't have a lot tonight, we contracted out the landscaping at Big4 so help us out
since we are shorthanded. We are also planning to bring back the ice rink this year so we will have a
plan for that in the next couple of.months.

Member Clark made a motion to ADJOURN at 5:55 pm, PASSING on a vote of 7-0.
