apply any applicable credit under this ordinance to 1991
residential billings in the City of Jeffersonville. In
the event that said credits can be accomplished within the
current billing system, the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville hereby authorizes the same. In the event
that said credits cannot be processed for 1991 within the
Sewer Department billing system, said office is directed
to report the same to the Common Council for study of
other alternatives.
The Common Council further recognizes that adoption
of this sprinkling credit will reduce Sewer Department
revenues. If the reduction results in net revenues below
either the level required to fund the user charge system
replacement allowance requirement or the amount necessary
to cover the City's obligation for bond indebtedness
repayment, the Common Council hereby agrees to adjust the
sewer user rates in a manner which will meet all such
outstanding obligations of the utility.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
