MINUTES
July 31, 2019

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:32 a.m.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from July 24, 2019,
seconded by Mr. Miles and motion passed 3-0.
APPROVAL OF THE PAYROLL: Mr. Miles made the motion to approve the payroll, seconded by Mr. Crouch
and motion passes 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
Christy O'Neil/Les Merkley— Request for approval of handicap only sign to be placed in front of
1515 Brigman for Brent Priddy (has been approved by JPD—Kevin Marian)
Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the handicap only sign, seconded by Mr. Miles and motion
passes 3-0.
Clark Miles - Request from Gary Vissing for approval to close Utica Pike near Brighton Avenue on
Monday August 5,2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to remove rotten railroad ties
Mr. Crouch the motion to approve the closure, changing the start time to 9 a.m., seconded by Mr.
Miles and motion passes 3-0.
Kim Calabro- Request for approval of a contract between the City of Jeffersonville and Harold
Mahan Productions for a Photo Booth at the Employee Holiday Party on December 6, 2019
Ms. Calabro indicated that First Savings Bank made a donation of$375 toward the cost and Mahan
Productions gave the City the rental at half price ($500). Funds are in the budget for the balance.
Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the contract, seconded by Mr. Miles and motion
passes 3-0.
ADDITIONAL NEW BUSINESS:
Mayor inquired about the street work in front of Jeffersonville High School. Mr. Miles indicated
that the work will be performed on August 5th and 6th with possible second shift workers so that the work
is complete before school starts on August 8th.

Les Merkley—Request for street closure at Justinian and Old Tay Bridge for National Night Out on
August 6, from 6—8 p.m.
Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the street closure, seconded by Mr. Miles and motion
passes 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT: With no further business, motion was made to /r djo ,t 9:36 a.m.
