HomeMy WebLinkAboutDB JULY 2, 2019 JEFFERSNVILLE DRAINAGE BOARD REGULAR MEETING JULY 2, 2019 The Jeffersonville Drainage Board met on July 2, 2019 at 5:30 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, First Floor, 500 Quartermaster Court,Jeffersonville, Indiana. President Charlie Smith called the meeting to order with the following in attendance: BOARD MEMBERS: STAFF: Charlie Smith Matt Bell Steve Gill Darren Wilder, Attorney Grant Morton Patty Rush Arthur Guepe James Wright John Ketenbrink Absent were: City Engineer Andy Crouch, Rob Burgess and Brandon Westerfield Guests: Jordon Baker with Luckett and Farley APPROVAL OF CLAIMS: Mr. Morton reviewed the new claims with the Board, asking if there were any questions or comments. Mr. Morton made a motion to approve the claims in the amount of$43,236.08 and seconded by Mr. Gill. Motion approved unanimously APPROVAL OF MINUTES: President Smith presented the minutes from June 18, 2019 meeting, asking if there were any questions, additions or comments. Mr. Gill advised there was misspelled word and after correction, Mr. Gill made a motion to approve the minutes and seconded by Mr. Ketenbrink. Motion approved unanimously OLD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS: Jordon Baker with Luckett and Farley addressed the Board with a presentation for Enterprise Dealership, CCAA at the Clark County Auto Auction located at 1000 Auction Lane. This is in regard to paving area of the parking lot using the old plans. This is for new paving on the site that was previously approved along with the drainage plan. Mr. Gill made a motion to approve the plans as presented and seconded by Mr. Wright. Motion approved unanimously PUBLIC COMMENTS: Mr.Jim Walker, 2617 Downey Drive in Mallard Run addressed the Board in regard to erosion problems. He presented pictures to the Board of all the area and was requesting some assistance from the Drainage Board. Mr. Bell had reviewed that area approximately 3 years ago when there was a complaint submitted before to the department. President Smith advised that he would consult with City
