MINUTES
July 3, 2019

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the minutes from June 26, 2019,
seconded by Mr. Crouch and motion passed 3-0.
APPROVAL OF THE PAYROLL: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the payroll, seconded by Mr. Waiz
and motion passes 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
Andy Crouch—Request for approval of Artist Agreement between Brian Somerville and the City for
Fable Inspired Outdoor Sculpture
Mr. Crouch -this will be in the NoCo downtown area and funds are in the budget.
Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the agreement, second by Mr. Crouch and motion
passes 3-0.
Paul Northam—request for approval of City Events Planning Board events as follows:
• SPAAMFAA Truck Display on Saturday,July 20, 2019 at 9 am—4 pm on Riverside Drive
• Claysburg Days on Friday&Saturday, August 23rd at 5-11 pm; 24th at 11 am—11 pm
• 911 Memorial on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 3-4 pm at Big 4 Station
• Vintage Fire Museum Parade & Muster on Saturday,September 21, 2019 at
the Warf 11-12 am
Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the events, secon-,- by Mr. Waiz, motion passes 3-0.
