March 27,2019

CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:31 a.m.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES:
Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the minutes from March 20, 2019, seconded by
Mr. Faulkenstein and motion passed 3-0.
APPROVAL OF THE PAYROLL:
Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the payroll, seconded by Mr. Faulkenstein, and
motion passes 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
None
NEW BUSINESS:
Ron Culler,Attorney-Request for approval of petition to reform easement between Lot 3
and Lot 4 of the Villas of New Chapel. Reducing the easement from 30 foot to 10 foot.
(He has already discussed this request with Andy Crouch)
Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the petition pending City Engineer approval,
seconded by Mr. Faulkenstein and motion passes 3-0.
Josh Darby with JTL-Request for approval of Plank Road Sidewalk Contract Amendment
Mr. Darby—Two additional easements will be necessary in this project for an additional
$8,000. Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the amendment, seconded by Mr. Faulkenstein and
motion passes 3-0.
Josh Darby with TIT-Request for approval of Plank Road Easement Appraisal Agreement
Mr. Darby—this agreement is for the appraisal work for the easement purchases (7 @ $750).
Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the agreement, seconded by Mr. Faulkenstein and motion
passes 3-0.

Heather Metcalf/Shawn Grant-Request for approval of Draw#3 for the Fire Lease with
First Savings Bank
Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the draw; Mr. Faulkenstein seconded the motion and
motion passes 3-0.
Chris Jackson with Dan Cristiani Excavating-Request for approval of road closure on
Charlestown Pike in front of the New Williams Crossing subdivision on Tuesday, April 2, 2019
from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
After discussion of the closure Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the road closure on
Charlestown Pike in front of the new Williams Crossing subdivision on Wednesday, April 3, 2019
from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to install utility lines in the road, seconded by Mr. Faulkenstein and motion
passes 3-0.
Les Merkley-Request for approval to close 11th Street from Mechanic to Penn in front of
the Fire Union Hall on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm for the Mike Moore
Campaign Kick-Off Party
Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the road closure, seconded by Mr. Faulkenstein and
motion passes 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no further business, motion was made to adjounl at 9:41 a.m.
