HomeMy WebLinkAboutRD GATEWAY ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECTS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 2 JEFFERSONVILLE GATEWAY ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION/ INSPECTION AND LAND ACQUISITION MANAGEMENT SERVICES JEFFERSONVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA This Supplemental Agreement made and entered into this 29th day of August,2018, by and between the City of Jeffersonville, IN, acting by and through its duly appointed Redevelopment Commission (OWNER), and Jacobi, Toombs and Lanz, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 1829 E. Spring Street, Suite 201,New Albany, Indiana 47150 (CONSULTANT), WITNESSETH WHEREAS, the OWNER and the CONSULTANT did, on April 28, 2014, enter into an agreement providing necessary Professional Engineering Services required in connection with the Survey and Design of the Gateway Road Improvements Project, and, AND WHEREAS, the Owner and the CONSULTANT did, on May 30, 2018 enter into a Supplemental Agreement No.1 to add necessary fees for Construction Administration and Inspection Services and, Land Acquisition Management Services, to purchase the properties within the block bounded by 8th and 9th Street, and Indiana Avenue and Ohio Avenue, and • WHEREAS,it has become necessary to employ a Relocation Specialist to address and arrange for the relocation of existing tenants that rent space in the buildings being purchased. NOW THEREFORE,it is agreed by and between the parties hereto to the following additions or changes in the agreement: ATTACHMENT 'C': FEE SCHEDULE Land Acquisition Management Services, Relocation Services Payment to the CONSULTANT for Land Acquisition Management Services,including right-of-way services,buying,recording relocation, and other tasks necessary to acquire right-of-way and land for construction of the project, shall be on a Time and Materials basis,in accordance with the Hourly Billing Rates shown in Attachment 'F'. Dave Patterson of the Patterson Agency,LLC. will be the land buyer, and Appraising Indiana,LLC.,will provide the relocation services. Payment for buying services will be on a per parcel basis and payment for Relocation Services will be on a per displaced basis,with a subtotal amount not to exceed one hundred thirty-nine thousand three hundred fifty dollars and no cents ($139,350.00). 5:\pr jects\I 5 198-Gateway{load)morovements rroject\Froposals\Supplemental Agreement No.2 For CL.doc Total Estimated Fee for Construction Administration, Inspection, Land Acquisition Management Services and Relocation Services Construction Administration and Inspection Services - $225,000.00 Land Acquisition Management Services - $ 39,350.00 Realocation Services $100,000.00 Total Estimated Fee - $364,350.00 The estimated cost of relocation approximately 32 displacees is two hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($225,000.00). EXCEPT as herein modified,changed and supplemented,all items of the original agreement dated April 28,2014,And the Supplemental Agreement No. 1 dated May 30,2018,shall continue in full force and effect. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have made and executed this Supplemental Agreement No. 2the day and year first mentioned above.
