SCOPE OF SERVICES
1.0 General Information
The City of Jeffersonville (CLIENT) is a Phase 2 Municipal Separate Storm Sewer (MS4)
community and is required to meet the requirements of its stormwater NPDES permit.
Requirements are mandated by the Federal Clean Water Act. In Indiana, the MS4
program is administered by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management

Additionally, IDEM is in the midst of the approval process for Stormwater Regulations
that move the state from Permit by Rule to a General Stormwater Permit. Currently, it
is expected that the regulations will be adopted in early 2018.
