A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INVESTMENT
OF TEMPORARILY DORMANT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Clerk Treasurer has on hand in certain accounts more funds than are
currently necessary for immediate use of such accounts; and
WHEREAS, the Acts of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana now provides for
the temporary investment of such funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City
of Jeffersonville, that the Clerk Treasurer be, and is hereby authorized t° invest the
following sums and for the time indicated.
From such accounts the Clerk Treasurer finds that excessive money at the present
time would be more beneficial to the City of leffersonville to invest as authorized
by the State Board of Accounts.
The time period for such funds should be left to the discretion of the Clerk
Treasurer. Time for such investments shall not exceed December 31, 2003.
This resolution shall be in full force and effect fi.om and after its passage.
