APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Councilperson Owen made the motion to APPROVE the minutes from the July 28, 2016 meeting, seconded by Mr. Waiz passing on a vote of 3-0. APPROVAL OF THE PAYROLL: Councilperson Owen made the motion to APPROVE the payroll, seconded by Mr. Waiz passing on a vote of 3-0. OLD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS: 1. Les Merkley/Rick Lovan—Request for approval of new copier lease for Mayor's Office. Mr. Merkley requested approval for the lease. Mr. Waiz made the motion to APPROVE, seconded by Councilperson Owen passing on a vote of 3-0. 2. Pam Blanchard with Fire Department—Request for approval of Crusade for Children Fundraiser on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Fire Station 2 Ms. Blanchard made the request for the fundraiser yard sale and to participate $25 Donation will reserve a 20x20 space. Mr. Waiz made the motion to APPROVE, seconded by Councilperson Owen passing on a vote of 3-0. 3. Nick Mericle with Safety Services—Request for approval to close Hamburg Pike at the railroad crossing for track maintenance on August 10, 2016 starting at 7am for the entire day Mr. Mericle requested approval for Wednesday August 10, 2016. Mayor Moore stated during the week is not acceptable to close the road as it is major movement for persons going to work and school busses he would accept a motion for approval for Saturday August 6, 2016 or Saturday August 13, 2016. 2 Councilperson Owen made the motion to APPROVE the dates, seconded by Mr. Waiz passing on a vote of 3-0. Chief Kavanaugh requested Mr. Mericle to contact him as soon as he knows which Saturday so the public can be notified. 4. Len Ashack—Mr. Ashack reported that Mulberry Street will reopen today. ADJOURNMENT: With no further business from the board, Councilperson Owen made the motion t;DJ RN, seconded by Mr. Waiz meeting adjourned at 9:50 A.M.
