BEFORE THE COMMON COUNCIL
FOR THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
AN ORDINANCE OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary to appropriate more money than
was appropriated in the annual budget.
NOW, THEREFORE:
SECTION ONE
BE IT ORDAINED BY the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana,
that for the expenses of said City the following sums of money are hereby appropriated and ordered
set apart out of the fund herein named and for the purposes herein specified, subject to a law governing
the same:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Finance Director of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana is
hereby ordered and directed to give notice as provided by law.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council
and approval by the Mayor.

NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS
OF PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of Jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana that the proper legal
officers of said municipal corporations in Council Chambers, first floor of City Hall, Jeffersonville,
Indiana at 7:00 pm. on the 20th day of October, 2016, will hold a public hearing to consider the following
additional appropriation(s) in excess of the budget for the fiscal year of 2016.

Taxpayers appearing at such meeting shall have a right to be heard thereon. The additional
appropriation(s) as finally made will be referred to the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
