BEFORE THE JEFFERSONVILLE COMMON COUNCIL
ORDINANCE NO. 2000
AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING MAP DESIGNATION
OF A CERTAIN TRACT OF PROPERTY FROM B-1
TO PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT
Whereas, Nick Jones filed an application before the Jeffersonville Plan
Commission to approve a planned unit development ("PUD") outline plan for the real
property described in the attached "Exhibit A" (the "Property"); and
Whereas, on June 29, 2000 the Jeffersonville Plan Commission held a public
hearing on approval of the PUD outline plan and changing the City's zoning maps to
reflect a change in the zoning classification of the Property from B-1 to PUD; and
Whereas, the Plan Commission certified to the Common Council a favorable
recommendation concerning the proposed change to the City's zoning map; and
Whereas, this matter is now before the Common Council for public hearing on
the PUD application within 30 days after the Council received the Plan Commission's
report and recommendations pursuant to the provisions of Section 156.69C.4. of the
Jeffersonville Zoning Ordinance; and
Whereas, the Common Council has notice of its intent to consider the proposed
change of zoning map designation as required by IC 36-7-4-608(g)(1); and
Whereas, all interested persons having been given an opportunity to appear
before this Common Council and be heard regarding this matter as required by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City
of Jeffersonville, Indiana, that the zoning designation of the real property described in the
attached "Exhibit A" is hereby changed from B-1 to PUD;
IT IS FURTHER ORDAINED that the zoning map of the City of Jeffersonville
shall be amended to include such change.
IT IS FURTHER ORDAINED that the Nick Jones outline plan and written
statement for the Property is hereby approved.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its adoption.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO CONSIDER OUTLINE PLAN
FOR PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND
CHANGING ZONING MAP TO "PUD"
Notice is hereby given that on July 17, 2000 at 7.:00 o'clock p.m. in
the Multi-Purpose Hearing Room on the Third Floor of the City-County
Building at 501 East Court Avenue, Jeffersonville, Indiana, the Common
Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, intends to consider approval
of a planned unit development outline plan and written statement, and an
ordinance, which, if adopted, would change the zoning map designation of
the following described property from B-1 to Planned Unit Development
Plan:
DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY
OF JEFFERSONVILLE
PROPERTY ADDRESS: The street address of this property is
4030 Charlestown Pike, Jeffersonville, IN.
PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: A part of Survey No. 36 of the Illinois
Grant, Jeffersonville Township, Clark County, Indiana and contains 7.49
acres.
After notice and hearing on June 29, 2000 the Jeffersonville Plan
Commission made a favorable recommendation concerning the approval
of this outline plan and written statement and/or adoption of an ordinance
enacting the proposed change of zoning map designation. All interested
persons are invited to attend and be heard regarding this matter. This
Jeffersonville Common Council meeting may be continued from time to
time as found necessary. The Jeffersonville Common Council may take
official action at the conclusion of debate at this meeting.
