BEFORE THE COMMON COUNCIL
FOR THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE
STATE OF INDIANA
A RESOLUTION TO GIVE NOTICE
OF PROPOSED ADDITIONAL APPROPIATION IN THE 2012 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Jeffersonville Common Council (hereinafter "Council ") is the fiscal
body for the City of Jeffersonville (hereinafter "City ");
WHERAS, the need to consider and determine whether an emergency exists for the
passage of an Ordinance to make the following appropriations in addition to the annual budget
adopted for the fiscal year 2012;
WHEREAS, Indiana law requires changes in the budget to be published;
WHEREAS, a special meeting of the Council is required following publication of the
proposed changes;
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to conduct a special meeting on September 17 2012 at
7:00 p.m. to consider whether an emergency exists for the passage of an ordinance making the
following appropriation to the annual budget adopted by the City for the fiscal year 2012;

WHEREAS, the Council desires the Controller of the City to effectuate publication of
the proposed budget reductions pursuant to Indiana law.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Jeffersonville Common
Council directs the Clerk of the City of Jeffersonville to give notice to the p

previously adopted.
