The Jeffersonville Redevelopment Commissioners held a Public Hearing on Tuesday,
May 27, 2008 at 5:00 in the Mayor's Conference Room, Second Floor, 500
Quartermaster Court, Jeffersonville, Indiana. The following were present:

CALL TO ORDER:
Mr. Stevens called the Public Hearing to order at 5:06 PM.
PURPOSE OF PUBLIC HEARING:
The purpose of the Public Hearing was the expansion of the Gateway TIF and the
Veteran's Parkway TIF. The Commission will consider an amendment to the
Declaratory Resolution to enlarge the Area and the Allocation Area less than 20% and an
amendment to the Plan to add the construction of certain local public improvements in
the Area.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
Mr. Norman Crumes asked if the TIF expansion would affect the assessed value of his
property. Mr. Downs said this should have no effect on the assessed value of property.
Mr. Flaugh asked if the taxes would go down. Mr. Claytor said the new legislature
should help the tax situation.

The meeting was adjourned at 5:20 PM.
