JEFFERSOrTVILLE REDEVELOPMENT COMNIISSION
Wednesday, September 26, 2001
The Jeffersonville Redevelopment Commission met in Regular S Fourth Floor, 501 E.
Wednesday, September 26, 2001 in the Mayor's Conference Room,
Court Avenue, Jeffersonville, Indiana. The following were present:
Robert E. Campbell, Jr., President
Barry Cahill, Vice President
Nathan Samuel, Secretary
Kyle Williams, Comnussion Member
STAFF:
David C. Duggins, Jr., Redevelopment Director

Anne Marie Galligan, City Attorney
Kathy Haller, Consultant
ABSENT: Ed Zastawny, Commission Member
CALL TO ORDER:
President Robert E. Campbell, Jr. called the meeting to order at 5:35 PM.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

INTERCITY ROAD BRIDGE PROJECT:
Mr. Jorge Lanz, of Jacobi, Toombs & Lanz reported on the progress of the Intercity
Road. Project. Mr. Lanz said the last yeaz anod t co~es of the Veteran' Parkway Right of

TREASURER'S REPORT:
Mr. Duggins presented the Treasurer's Report. Mr. Duggins reported that on the
Income Statement under Personnel Cost the line item $78,771.89 was incorrect. He
advised the Boazd that he would find out therreeasurer's Reeort with the condtaon thathMr.
Mr. Samuel made a motion to approve the T P

GRANT CLAIMS:

unanimously.
OPERATING CLAIMS:

QUADRANGLE:
Mr. Duggins reported that the Department of Redevelopment has bought the
Quadrangle for $1,468,000.00. The closing was September 19, 2001. The next step will

made by Mr. Samuel and seconded by Mr. Cahill to send out the RFP's. Motion passed.
Mr. Duggins also reported that Mr. Bobby Spears, the current manager ate asked for

Mr. Duggins inquired of the boazd on how to manage the rent checks that would be
coming in for the next months. It was decided the best way would be to set up a new

account. This account would be used to deposit the rent checks into. Mr. Samuel made a
motion to set up a new account to deposit Quadrangle money into. Mr. Williams
seconded. Motion passed.
PEARL STREET PROJECT:

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT UPDATE REPORT: (See attached sheet)
Ms. Haller reported that the Beth Nova project is now complete. All grant money has
been received from the State.
All properties on 10`~ Street have been appraised. Widening of 10~' Street could begin
next spring.
ADJOURNMENT
Mr. Campbell asked if there was any additional business, hearing none Mr. Williams
