RESOLUTION TO AMEND
FALLS LANDING REDEVELOPMENT AREA
WHEREAS, the Jeffersonville Redevelopment Commission (the
"Commission") believes that in order to best serve the public health and welfare
through accomplishment of the plan for economic development of the City, it is
necessary to amend the existing Falls Landing Redevelopment Area (the "Area")
through expansion of the Area;
WHEREAS, this proposed expansion of the Area is reasonable and
appropriate when considered in relation to the original Resolution establishing
the Area and the purposes of the Indiana Code;
WHEREAS, the Resolution establishing the Area as amended herein
conforms to, Jeffersonville's Comprehensive Plan.
NOW THEREFORE IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Commission
does hereby approve the expansion of the Falls Landing Redevelopment Area to
include the area bounded by Riverside Drive on the south, the Flood Wall on the
north, Spring Street on the east and Pearl Street on the west.
This Resolution shall be full force and effect from and after its adoption.
Adopted this 1 S~ day of November, 2000.
