HomeMy WebLinkAbout07-13-1995COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVIt[E, INDIANA JULY 1B~ 1995 ~The Common Co,.~ncil of the City of Jeffersonville met in the Mayor's Conference Room in the City--County Building: Jeffersonville, Indiana, at 6:00 P.M. on the 13th day of July 1995. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Raymond J. Parker Jr.~ with Clerk and Treasurer C. Richard Spencer Jr~ at the desk. Mayor Parker asked all those present to join him in the pledge of allegiance to the 'flag. Fhe roll was called and those present were Counci;persons Bill Wolpert, Donna M. Frantz, Peggy Knight Wilder, Steven R. Stemler~ and Robert ~ . Potter. Absent: Councilpersons Andrew Williams III and Barbara Wllson. Council President Wilder read aloud Resolution No. 95-R-]3, A Resolution From Jeffersonville Police Department Fraternal Order of Police lodge ~]00. Following 'the reading~ Council President Wilder made the mo~ion to pass Resolution No. if there is a second to the motion. Parker again asked if there is a second 95-R-13. Mayor Parker asked There being no response Mayor to the motion. There being no second, the motion dies and the Resolution falls. Councilpersons Williams and Wilson arrive at 6:03 P.M. Council President Wilder read aloud Resolution No. 95-R-~4, A Resolution Recommending Proposal By The City Plan Commission For Amendment Of The City 7_oni ng Ordinance. Following discussion~ Councilperson Wolpert made the motion to pass Resolution No. 95-R-14, seconded by Co~nciIperson Potter~ passing unanimously. There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilperson Potter' moved to adjourn at 6:05 o~clock P~M. seconded by Councilpereon Wolpert and unanimously carried. ATTE ~, . I~--' '
