Jeffersonville Sewer Board and William Mattinaly
The Jeffersonville Sewer Board, hereby retains and employs William
Mattingly, CPA as our financial consultant to assist the Jeffersonville Sewer
Board in evaluating, developing and preparing any and all budgets, pro forma
documents, expense estimates and/or any and all other activities associated with
the operation of the Jeffersonville Sewer Utility up to and including assisting in
preparation for litigation pending and/or threatened litigation.
As payment for services rendered by William Mattingly, the Jeffersonville
Sewer Board hereby agrees that they shall pay him the rate of Thirty Five
Dollars ($35.00) per hour to be billed in increments deemed acceptable by both
Mattingly and the Jeffersonville Sewer Board.
Moreover, the parties agree that Mattingly shall submit his hourly billing in
the format deemed acceptable by the Indiana State Board of Accounts.
Furthermore, the parties agree and understand that Mattingly shall perform
other work for other entities of government throughout the City pursuant to
contract. The parties agree and understand that Mattingly shall maintain
accurate records setting forth specifically what duties Mattingly performed for

each entity of government for which he performed said duties. The parties
understand that Mattingly shall submit his billing statements to the Jeffersonville
City Clerk-Treasurer
It is understood the undersigned and agreed that Mattingly, as a part of his
compensation, shall be eligible to receive health insurance benefits as provided
by the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana pursuant to its health insurance benefts
plan. He shall be subject to those same rules and regulations as set forth by said
contract for insurance as though he were an employee of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana.
The parties acknowledge and understand that Mattingly shall be
responsible for payment of all of those taxes that he may or may not be obligated
to pay pursuant to those dictates and mandates of the United States Federal
government, the State of Indiana, the County of Clark and the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana. The City shall not be charged with the duty or obligation
to withhold any sums from Mattingly's compensation for the purpose of payment
of tax obligations.
This contract is terminable by either party for cause and/or no cause at the
determination of either party. If either party desires to terminate said contract

they shall be obligated to provide notice in writing. If Mattingly terminates said
contract he shall provide written notice to the office of the Mayor of Jeffersonville.
Furthermore, upon termination of the contract the parties are obligated to return
any and all incomplete work, work product or property that is the property of the
other party.
Finally, the parties acknowledge and understand that each are obligated to
adhere to any and all laws of the State of Indiana as it relates to information,
documentation and the general mandates of municipal and Barrett Law.
WHEREFORE, the parties enter into this contract on this day of
