' I I (Iant I , ~ ~ ~ ~ I I " I~ ~ I ~ Effluent quality was within NPDES permit limits. Removal percentages for the month, BOD 98.2%, TSS 96.4%, and NH3 99.4%. Settleable solids averaged 369 mg/I for the month. Settleability is good, starting to increase due to the weather. There were 28 wet days (defined as a day having at least 0.1 inch of rainfall and three days afterward) resulting in an average plant flow of 7.417 MGD, and 3 dry days with an average flow of 4.503 MGD. The total monthly flow for the plant was 105% of the design flow. The faCility received an average influent BOD loading of 13,095 Ibs/day, (Design - 12,210 Ibs/day) The facility received an average influent TSS of 15,204 Ibs/day; (Design - 11,660 Ibs/day) The facility received an average influent Ammonia of 707 Ibs/day, (Design - 1,50 I Ibs/day) The'maximum rainfall event during the month was on December 15 at 2.1 inches. Total montbly rainfall for the month of December was 7.86 inches. Plant is operating well. r ,. t ~ r ' Pretreatment ~ Select Snacks was bought and the name was changed to Kruncher's, Inc. in December 2007. Lift stations and Collection System r i Lift Stations and collection system . Crews cleaned and vactored 8,298 ft. of sanitary sewers. (YTD 65966 ft.) . Crews cleaned and vactored 8,655 ft. of storml CSO sewers (YTD 67214 ft.) . Crews televised 3,008 ft. of sewer lines. (YTD 17167 ft.) . Crews cleaned and vactored 14 CJB and 2 C/B tops, also 2 M/H. . All 23 trouble spots were cleaned and or checked during the month. . Crews conducted I dye tests in the collection system. Collection crews worked with different departments of the city on various projects and on a few Business jobs around town. . Crews televised 380' to locate buried M/H on New Middle Rd for Jerry C and Contractor. . Crews televised 427' on Allison L~ to check Storm line for damages for JTL. . Crew televised 826' on 3 different days to locate tap at 311 Knobloch contractor did not cut the liner in pipe for residents lateral. . Crews worked with JTL to do a draw down of the Artie Springs lift station. . Crew monitored Louise lift station so Contractors could spray new M/H on 8th St the city installed the force main empties into that M/H. . Crew worked vactoring out ditch city dug at 311 Knobloch for Bob G. . Crew worked 3 days with Aqua Utilities on the CSO flow meter monitoring. . Crews cleaned and vactored 2 C/~ at 10th and Main St for Bob G. crew. Collection crews street pre-maintenance 'schedule . Crews televised 65' and found darbged line from Lynndale Dr. over to Morris Ave city will repair line. . Table 1.1 summarizes the effluent quality data. Attachment A contains Time Series Plots of Carbonaceous Biochelllipal Oxygen Demand (CBOD) and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) values. Attachment B contains Time Series Plots o'f Aeration Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids (MLSS) and Sludge Volume Index (SVI). Average influent flow was 98.6% of plant design capacity.
