MINUTES OF THE SANITARY SEWER BOARD OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE
April 17 , 2007
The Sanitary Sewer Board of the City of Jeffersonville met in regular session in the Mayor's
Conference room in the City Hall, Jeffersonville, Indiana on the 17th day of April 2007.
Chairman Jeffrey Caldwell called the meeting to order at 3:05p.m. Board Member Bill
Saegesser was present. Also present were Mike Meyer, Jorge Lanz, Mark Sneve, Len
Ashack, Bob Miller, Barb Anderson, and R. Scott Lewis.
Bill Saegesser moved to approve the agenda as amended, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell,
passing unanimously.
The claims were presented to the board for approval. Bill Saegesser moved to approve the
claims as presented, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell, passing unanimously.
Barb Anderson presented the addresses and lien amounts on the Haven House properties
as requested by the board. Bill Saegesser moved to release the liens on the following
properties:
1727 Green Street, in the amount of $4,386.39, with a release amount of $23.00;
915 Walnut Street, in the amount of $1 ,004.22, with a release amount of $23.00;
1042 Kehoe Lane, in the amount of $763.10;
817 Springdale~in the amount of $294.92;
with the balanc ill remaining subject to collection, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell, passing
unanimously.
Jorge presented the agreement between Jeff Sewer Board and the Utica Town Council for
installation of new sanitary sewer force main through Town of Utica. Jorge asked for
permission to send to Utica Town Council. Scott advised the agreement should be more
informal. Jorge will prepare as a letter form for the Mayor to sign. Bill Saegesser moved to
authorize Jorge to prepare the letter for the Mayor's signature, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell,
passing unanimously.
Bill Saegesser moved to authorize JTL to solicit bids for Happy Valley, seconded by Jeffrey
Caldwell, passing unanimously.
Jorge requested the board allow him to proceed with bids on Area 6. Bill Saegesser moved
to authorize JTL to proceed with bids for Area 6, seconded by Jeffrey Caldwell, passing
unanimously.
