TLC;ks [: ,.".;.J l Jeffersonville Wastewater Treatment Facility Monthly Operations Report 1.0 EFFLUENT QUALITY During June, effluent quality was within NPDES permit limits for CBOD, TSS and NH-3. Table 1.1 summarizes the effluent quality data. Attachment A contains Time Series Plots of Carbonaceous Biochemical Oxygen Demand (CBOD) and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) values. During June, the treatment processes performed very well. Even though our average flow was 120% of our design capacity, all effluent parameters were well within limits. 3.1 PRETREATMENT Pretreatment activities for the month include: . Annual 24-hour samplings were conducted at Cargo Clean and Philadelphia Quartz. . Annual inspections were also made at Wyandot and Philadelphia Quartz 4.0 PREVENTIVE AND UNSCHEDULED MAINTENANCE Preventive Maintenance was performed on all equipment as scheduled for June. All generators at the plant and lift stations were checked and fueled. 4.1 SEWER MAINTENANCE CALLS r !, Table 4.2 represents all sewer maintenance calls for the month. On June 6th and June 13th, the city received an unusually large amount of rain in very short periods of time. Table 4.6 represents the amount expended in April. Y ear- To-Date $5,144.87 $16,668.00 $11,523.13 4.7 ELECTRICAL EXPENDITURES Table 4.8 represents the facility electrical expenditures for the month providing a year to date total also. June $16,349.77 Y ear- To-Date $32,995.01 $25,906.00 ($7,089.01) 5.0 FACILITY SAFETY & TRAINING A safety inspection was conducted on June 28, 2002. The rating was 99%. There were no deficiencies reported. Our plant is still in excellent shape. A copy of the Safety Inspection Report is included as Attachment 1. 40f6 r i I ~ Jeffersonville Wastewater Treatment Facility Monthly Operations Report 6.0 SEWER COLLECTION SYSTEM r ~ 1 . During the month, there were 43 sewer calls. The calls were related to the following problems. Please see table 4.2, Monthly Sewer Call Report and table 6.1, Monthly Collection Analysis Report, for a more detailed breakdown of monthly sewer maintenance.
