No RAS readings for 5/20-5/24 due to malfunction of meter. Was sent off for repair, and put back in service.

1.0 EFFLUENT QUALITY
During May, effluent quality was within NPDES permit limits for CBOD, TSS and NH-3. Table
1.1 summarizes the effluent quality data. Attachment A contains Time Series Plots of
Carbonaceous Biochemical Oxygen Demand (CBOD) and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) values.
Attachment B contains Time Series Plots of Aeration Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids (MLSS) and
Sludge Volume Index (SVI).

3.0 FACILITY OPERATIONS
Attachment D contains a list of septic haulers that discharged at the facility during the month of
May.
Process ran fine in May. We experienced some settling problems, but showed improvement by the
end of the month. We are still working on disposal of IWR sludge.
3.1 PRETREATMENT
4.0 PREVENTIVE AND UNSCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
Preventive Maintenance was performed on all equipment as scheduled for May. All generators at
the plant and lift stations were checked and fueled.

A safety inspection was conducted on May 22, 2002. The rating was 98.0%. There were no
deficiencies reported. Our plant is still in excellent shape.

6.0 SEWER COLLECTION SYSTEM
During the month, there were 23 sewer calls. The calls were related to the following problems.
Please see table 4.2, Monthly Sewer Call Report and table 6.1, Monthly Collection Analysis
Report, for a more detailed breakdown of monthly sewer maintenance.

Collection system personnel have been cleaning and televising as needed. Vactored wet wells as
needed. General maintenance of lift stations and groundskeeping has also been taken <care of
during the month of May. Catchbasins have been checked and cleaned as needed. Troublespots
were also taken care of. Vactored Colonial Park and Scott Street lift stations. Pulled and rebuilt
#2 pump at Mill Creek lift station and cleaned the wet well. Ran stop floats at Ewing Lane and
Riverport II lift stations. Repaired #1 bar screen at 10th Street lift station.
