Monthly Operations Report
1.0 EFFLUENT QUALITY
During March, effluent quality was within NPDES permit limits for CBOD, TSS and NH-3. Table
1.1 summarizes the effluent quality data. Attachment A contains Time Series Plots of
Carbonaceous Biochemical Oxygen Demand (CBOD) and Total Suspended Solids (TSS) values.
Attachment B contains Time Series Plots of Aeration Mixed Liquor Suspended Solids (MLSS) and
Sludge Volume Index (SVI).

FACILITY OPERATIONS
Attachment D contains a list of septic haulers that discharged at the facility during the month of
March.

During March, the treatment process performed very well. The facility experienced above normal
rainfall for the month at 6.35 inches. The sludge settleability and Sludge Volume Indexes (SVIs)
in the secondary treatment process were normal for the month.
3.1 PRETREATMENT
Pretreatment activities for the month include:

. Monitored the shutdown and clean up ofthe IWR facility.
. Prepared to start our industrial sampling program.
4.0
PREVENTIVE AND UNSCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
Preventive Maintenance was performed on all equipment as scheduled for March. There were 10
unscheduled maintenance tasks performed. All repairs were minor.
4.1 SEWER MAINTENANCE CALLS
Table 4.2 represents all sewer maintenance calls for the month.

6.0 SEWER COLLECTION SYSTEM
During the month, there were 23 sewer calls. The calls were related to the following problems.
Please see table 4.2, Monthly Sewer Call Report and table 6.1, Monthly Collection Analysis
Report, for a more detailed breakdown of monthly sewer maintenance.

. Blockages in City's Main 5
Collection system personnel have been cleaning and televising as needed. New Guide rails and
new Flygt pump installed at lOth Street Lift Station March 11th. Mulberry Street was vactored and
cleaned in preparation of new lining. Completed installation of guards at Spring Street lift station.
Vactored wet wells as needed. General maintenance of lift stations and groundskeeping has also
been taken care of during the month of March. Catchbasins have been checked and cleaned as
needed. Troublespots were also taken care of
