During February, effiuent quality was within NPDES permit limits for CBOD, TSS and NH-3.

3.0 FACILITY OPERATIONS
Attachment D contains a list of septic haulers that discharged at the facility during the month of
February.
During February, the treatment process performed very well. Rainfall was slightly below normal
at 4.871 inches. Settleability and SUI returned to optimum levels. New drain valves were
installed for #1 and #3 clarifier. All four clarifiers were operational.
3.1 PRETREATMENT
Pretreatment activities for the month include:
. New permit for Indiana-American Water went into effect.
. Renewed permit for Cargo Clean.
4.0 PREVENTIVE AND UNSCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
Preventive Maintenance was performed on all equipment as scheduled for February. There were
10 unscheduled maintenance tasks performed. All repairs were minor.

A safety inspection was conducted on March 1, 2002. The rating was 96.4%. There were no
deficiencies reported. Our plant is still in excellent shape.

Collection system personnel have been cleaning and televising as needed. Cleaned 10th Street wet
well for new pump replacement. Guards are being installed at Spring Street lift station. Vactored
wet wells as needed. General maintenance of lift stations and groundskeeping has also been taken
care of during the month of February. Catchbasins have been checked and cleaned as needed.
Troublespots were also taken care of.
