'1" \ Attachment D contains a list of septic haulers that discharged at the facility during the month of September. c , During September the treatment processes performed very well. The facility experiem:ed normal rainfall for the month. The sludge settleability and Sludge Volume Indexes (SVIs) in the secondary treatment process were normal for 'I ' the month of September. I ~ U This darifier project is nearing completion. The clarifier should be completed near the end of October. ; i i I 3.1 PRETREATMENT ketr1tment activities for the month of September include: 1- - I ! i I. . i ! ~. An annual inspection was performed at George Pfau. ~ Annual sampling was performed at VogI' Valve and Alumnitec. J Annual Total Toxic Organic's (TIO's) sampling were performed at VogI' Valve, Voss Clark, Cargo Clean, IWR, and Galvpro. . On September 19,2000, a shaft on the sludge collection system of the Wyandot dissolved air floatation (DAF) unit failed. Maintenance crews at Wyandot responded immediately to initiate repair of the unit. They slowed production down and used an emergency storage tank as long as they could. They did bypass for a hour, estimating a volume of 15,000 - 20,000 gallons. . r.O P , ':E~'fIVE ~ND UNSCHEDULED MAINTENAiCE Preventive maintenance was performed on all equipment as scheduled for September. There were 15 unscheduled maintenance tasks performed. A list of unscheduled maintenance work orders and sewer calls is included as Attachment E. 1vfain~enance. & Repair expenditures for the month of S~ptember are detailed in Attachment F .
