HomeMy WebLinkAbout05-08-2006 MINUTES OF THE SANITARY SEWER BOARD OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE May 8, 2006 The Sanitary Sewer Board of the City of Jeffersonville met in regular session in the Mayor's Conference room in the City County Building, Jeffersonville, Indiana on the 8th day of May, 2006. Mayor Waiz called the meeting to order at 3:05p.m. Board Member Jeffrey Caldwell was present. Also present were Bob Miller, Jorge Lanz, Mark Sneve, Tim Crawford, R. Scott Lewis, Connie Sellers and Mike Griffin. Jeffrey Caldwell moved to approve the agenda as presented, seconded by Mayor Waiz, passing unanimously. The minutes of March 27,2006 and April 10, 2006 were presented for approval. Jeffrey Caldwell moved to table the minutes, seconded by Mayor Waiz, passing unanimously. The claims were presented to the board for approval. Jeffrey Caldwell moved to approve the claims as presented, seconded by Mayor Waiz, passing unanimously. Bob Miller opened the bids on the 4-wheel drive Loader. 1 )Holt : Base Price = $98,600; trade in value = $33,500; 2)Brandeis Machinery: Base Price = $102,700; trade in value = $29,000; 3) Wayne Supply: Base Price = $106,430; trade in value = $27,000; 4) Hunt Tractor: Base Price $108,820; trade in value $35,900. Kenny Imports offered $26,800 for the Loader. Jeffrey Caldwell moved to take the bids under advisement and have Bob look over all the bids individually and call the board with his recommendations, seconded by Mayor Waiz, passing unanimously. Jorge Lanz presented the Status Report. Mike Griffm presented the EMC Monthly Operations for the Month of March 2006. Bob Miller presented the bid from Hagan Pipe Testing for work at Old Stoner Interceptor. Jeffrey Caldwell moved to accept the proposal as presented, seconded by Mayor Waiz, passing unanimously. R.
