Introduction of new Commissioner—Sarah Young
Hello everyone, I am very excited to join the board. I love everything going on in Jeff with the Arts and am
looking forward to being a part of it. Said Sarah.
NOCO Mobile Art Unit Update -
Monies received previously had to be returned because it was not used in a calendar year. But this is something
I would like to keep on the radar and hopefully do in 2021. How many months you we need to be out in front to
make this happen? Susan asked. About 3 maybe 4 months and we would need to reapply for monies, said John.
Was any of the money used?Asked Sarah. None of the money was used because COVID hit and we didn't
move forward on it, said John. Indiana Arts Commission is where the money come from and they are still,
moving forward with things so hopefully we will just be able to reapply, stated Emily. John McCarthy made
motion to table discussion for Mobile Art Unit until April 2021, seconded by Susan Harrison, roll call vote
taken, motion carried unanimously.
Coloring Book Update—
Andy stated 1000 coloring books are in his car as we speak, Commissioners just need to solidify plans to
disburse. Discussion has been had to sell or give away the books. Susan asked, If we sold some would we be
able to give some away for free? Emily, if we would like to sale them how could we do that? John, I would
have some events,we set up a table to sale the books.. Emily, before our next meeting I could check around
some of the names you all have mentioned and get their thoughts on helping us.

2021 Budget Update—Andy/Emily
Budget will be a little tight this year,we have lost a big amount of our-budget due to the current situation. So
currently for 2021 we have$55,000.00 in budget,we are able to carry.over$72,000.00 from 2020, so total
amount is$127,000.00 which is a lot better than what we originally thought. But we will still be applying for
grant from Indiana Arts Commission and any other grant made available to us,but there is just not a lot out
there yet for us to apply for. .
