Dawn said she would like to add River Heritage tab and Ogle Foundation tab. Artists will be able to go to this website and click to apply for one of the live calls. All Commissioners enjoyed looking through the website and complimented Dawn on all her hard work she has put into making it look so enticing. Review Soar Public Art Program 2020 Dawn presented everyone with a binder to show budget for 2020 and projects planned for 2020. Susan Harrison asked if the board has maintenance budget set aside. Dawn said yes we have included that in the price of each project so we are covered. Discuss current call to studio artists (Review of guideline & deadline) Currently we have a call out for NOCO Art Center Resident Artists. Deadline is February 17, 2020 and lease will run through February 15, 2021. Three grant reports due at the end of January NOCO district report for State, NOCO special project report and Regional project support grant. 2020 JPAC Chairperson Discussion Andy/Dawn stated JPAC has always had a Chairperson however, it is not something that has to happen. We, as a board can elect someone at each meeting, we can rotate at every meeting, or we can appoint a chairperson. After a little discussion it was decided John McCarthy will lead a few meetings and if we chose to pick someone else at later date that can be done at any meeting. Commissioners Comments/Questions Teah: No comments really. Will be an awesome board to be on. Susan: Dawn your presentation is unbelievable, not even necessary to have it that beautiful. Your level of detail is great. That is all I have at this time. Bill: Nothing at this time. Just excited to be here. Rosy: Great job Dawn and Andy. Denise: Website is great. Kofi: GCCS decision around para professionals—Dawn has been to all but one meeting, and I have been in contact with school board president. New elementary working with NOCO Kofi: seems to have some cost of funding for art is going away. I promised I would bring up 3 things up, 1) Anyway JPAC can come together with Ivy Tech about trama. 2) Can JPAC be a sponsor for Taste of Diversity Fesival 3) Pan African Art? Is there opportunities in Jeff?
