IPSP has provided Ms. Conen a letter regarding this test that will go out to all applicants. Oral Interviews will start on 7/23/2018 and may need to be two days. - J. Hurt spoke about the Fire Department Career Fair—felt that it was well attended by possible applicants. He has created a Human Relations Committee and is meeting quarterly. Would like to do an outreach at public schools. He is also looking at programs that would support an on-line application for 2020. He also would like all demographics to be represented in the Tactical Interview—possibly doing it as a"radio"not eye to eye. - Chief Hedrick brought up the question of age at time of hire—21 and over or 36 and under.
