Art Scholarships-
Need to confirm if Jeffersonville Public Art Commission can use funds as scholarships. Nathan is to try to
speak with Corporate Council,Les Merkley about using funds and see if JPAC is able to collect money from
public. Discussion of what scholarship monies can reimburse the recipient for: Art books, art supplies, pencils,
markers, anything art related. Would like this program to go out to schools in the next month and will start with
Jeffersonville High School and then possibly extend further.

Review 2018 Public Art Plan-Synergy
Theme for 2018 is Synergy. A rich descriptor for our place in public art at this time. So many individuals,
departments, and organizations are working in cooperation to ensure the successes of the creative capital
forthcoming in our community. The interaction dialog, and planning between the various groups have a
combined effect more impactful than the sum of their separate parts. Stay the course Jeffersonville and harness
the synergy that is now.
