VlSitOr— Richard Ecklund Approval of 4.8,13 meeting minutes. Motion by Struck, Second by EiEis passing 5O The Committee was led by Corbin through the Request for Qualifications. This is for Artists interested in doing integrated works (bike naCko, benches, shelters, etc.), murals on the floodwall, and gateways. This is being submitted by the JPAC to keep things moving and to alow the Jeffersonville Public Art Administrator to have a foundation to start from. It will be sent to Preston>s Art Center, liOfL, |US, Ivy Tech, The LE(]. various Museums, and posted on the City's website. The following items are to be worked on: O Press Release (Deaver); O Database (Struck, Deaver, Corbin, and Eltis); O Poster Desi n oynmxwee (Struck and Deaver) Corbin went over the Request for Proposals for the Jeffersonville Public Art Administrator. This will be sent to the same locations as the RFQ. However, this will go out first followed by the RFQ approx. two weeks later. On May 17th and l8th the Advance Placement Studio Art Students will be showing their work at the former Bales Motors Showroom at Spring & 7th Streets. Our next scheduted meeting is May 2Oth @ 3pm.
