The Jeffersonville Fire Department Merit Commission held a Regular Meeting on
Thursday, February ry 3, 2011 in the Second Floor Conference Room, 500 Quartermaster
Court, Jeffersonville, IN. The following were present:
David Martin - President
Jeff Frcy— Board Member
Lyn Ackennon — Board Member
Bobby Ervin -Board Member
Ron Glass, Vice President
Drew Adams, Attorney
CALL TO ORDER:
Mr. Martin called the meeting to order at 7:31 PM.
MINUTES:

There were no minutes presented at this meeting.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
Mr. Adams, attorney, will e-mail the current Rules and Regulations with proposed
changes to everyone.
SHAWN GRANT:
The issue of whether Shawn Grant should return to Lieutenant was tabled at the last
meeting. Mr. Ervin made a motion to untable the issue. Mr. Ackerman seconded.
Motion passed unanimously.
After discussion Mr. Frey made a motion to return Mr. Grant to Lieutenant per 1C36-
8 -3 -5.11. Mr. Ackerman seconded. Motion passed 3 to 2 with Mr. Martin voting.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mr. Martin asked if there was any further business. Hearing none Mr. Glass made a
motion to adjoum the meeting.
