Welcome to the City of Jeffersonville website!  We have included a wide rage of information intended to keep you up-to-date on what is happening in our great city.  Whether Jeffersonville is home to your family, your business, or you are a first-time visitor, we are here to make sure that your questions and concerns are addressed in a timely manner.

Jeffersonville is a great city with a rich heritage.  We also pride ourselves on our excellent school system, our growing business community and local civic organizations.  Our community is a great place to live, work and raise a family.

Memorial Day Service

A special Memorial Day Service in honor of all military personnel (past n present) will take place Monday, May 28, 2012 at 2 p.m.  Please join Mayor Mike Moore and others on this special day as we give thanks and pay tribute to our fallen heroes.  The ceremony will take at Warder Park located at the corner of Court and Spring Streets. 

City Pride Residential Landscape Contest

Is your neighbor's yard beautiful? Spiffy? Eye catching? Hot?  Nominate that creative, hard-working person for the second annual "City Pride Residential Landscape Contest".  Top prize: a beautiful custom bronze yard stake crafted by Kaviar Forge.  All entries must be submitted between May 1, 2012 and August 1, 2012 to Landscape Contest, c/o Lisa Gill, City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Ct., Jeffersonville, IN  47130.  The winner will be announced at Riverbreeze on September 6, 2012.

City Unveils Design for New Police Headquarters

With the recent growth due to the annexation, the City of Jeffersonville plans to construct a new police headquarters on 10th Street adjacent to the Fire Headquarters.  Below is the architect rendering of the building...



Urban Enterprise Zone Site The Jeffersonville Urban Enterprise Association has launched a Web site outlining explaining zone-related benefits available to businesses and residents.
Ice Skating Rink Jeffersonville's ice rink is open daily at the northeast corner of Spring and Market streets. Admission is $8 per person.

The rink is open 12 to 9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday and 12 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

For more information on the rink, its scheduled events and opportunities for discounted admissions, visit the Jeffersonville Parks and Recreation Department's Web site.

Prescription Drug Card The City of Jeffersonville has partnered with Indiana Drug Card to offer a discount prescription card for anyone living or working in Clark County.

Cards are free of charge to consumers, though each individual seeking a discount must have their own card. The City of Jeffersonville paid no fee to enroll in the program.

In addition to printable cards on the City of Jeffersonville Web site, cards are available in the Sewer Billing Office at City Hall and will soon be available at all five fire stations.

More than 56,000 U.S. pharmacies accept the prescription drug card. The average savings from using the card is 30 percent, though some prescriptions are discounted as much as 75 percent.

Participating pharmacies with local stores include CVS, Kroger, Meijer, Rite Aid, Target, Walgreens and Walmart.

10th Street Area Business Assn. The 10th Street Area Business Association has launched a new Web site, which provides information relative to the group's mission and events.
Social Media More than 2,600 people and institutions follow the City of Jeffersonville via Twitter and the city's Facebook Group and Facebook Friend Page.

The City of Jeffersonville has launched its YourGOV Web portal. YourGOV allows citizens to report issues ranging from potholes to street light outages.

YourGOV is free, but requires registration and the free download Microsoft Silverlight to use.
